Ingredients

Scale

Pie Base:

  • 1 prepared pie crust

Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed

Toppings:

  • 5 Butterfinger candy bars, chopped (reserve some for garnish)
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the confectioners’ sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Blend Ingredients:
Add the peanut butter and milk to the cream cheese mixture and continue mixing until thoroughly combined.
  3. Fold in Whipped Topping:
Gently fold in the whipped topping, then stir in most of the chopped Butterfinger candy bars, reserving some for garnish.
  4. Assemble Pie and Chill:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to allow it to set.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
Just before serving, sprinkle the reserved Butterfinger pieces on top and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Notes

Helpful Notes and Tips

  • Room Temperature Cream Cheese: Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing to avoid lumps and achieve a smooth, creamy filling.
  • Gentle Folding: Fold the whipped topping in gently to retain the light, airy texture of the filling.
  • Candy Bar Garnish: Add the chopped Butterfinger pieces just before serving to keep them crunchy. If you add them too early, they may soften in the filling.
