Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 11 oz butterscotch chips
  • 4 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts optional

  • Melt the Base: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the smooth peanut butter and butterscotch chips. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  • Combine Ingredients: Gently fold in the chow mein noodles and roasted peanuts (if using), stirring until they’re evenly coated in the peanut butter mixture.
  • Form Haystacks: Use a spoon to scoop the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper, creating small haystacks. Allow them to cool at room temperature or in the refrigerator until they’ve set and hardened.
