- 3/4 cup unsalted butter at room temperature (12 tablespoons or 1.5 sticks)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 large egg at room temperature
- 2 cups all-purpose flour or use your favorite gluten-free flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 cups fresh cranberries coarsely chopped or 1 cup dried cranberries
Cream Butter and Sugars:
In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer on medium-high speed to cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 2-3 minutes, or until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix well. Beat in the orange zest and vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
