Ingredients
  

  • - 2 cups pecans finely chopped
  • - 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • - 1 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 cup brown sugar
  • - 1 cup vegetable oil
  • - 4 large eggs beaten
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • - 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 cup honey
  • - 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten eggs, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  • Gradually stir in the self-rising flour and salt, mixing until just incorporated.
  • Add the vanilla extract, honey, and melted butter, then fold in the chopped pecans gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  • Let the Pecanbread cool in the dish for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, toast the pecans before chopping.
  • Serve warm with additional honey butter drizzled on top.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
