Ingredients

  • - ½ cup salted butter softened
  • - ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • - 1 tablespoon honey
  • - ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • - 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • - ⅛ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients: Add all the ingredients (softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sea salt) to the bowl of a standing mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Alternatively, you can use a hand mixer and a large bowl.
  • Beat Until Fluffy: Beat the mixture on medium speed until it is well combined and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure even mixing.
  • Serve: Serve the honey butter at room temperature with your favorite bread or breakfast foods like pancakes, waffles, muffins, or toast. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Storage Instructions: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. Freeze for up to 4 months and thaw in the refrigerator or at room temperature before serving.
  • Substitutions: Unsalted butter or vegan butter can be used instead of salted butter. Maple syrup is a great substitute for honey, and vanilla bean paste or vanilla beans can replace vanilla extract.
  • Paleo Version: To make this recipe paleo-friendly, use grass-fed butter and homemade paleo powdered sugar.
